United Way helping the CSRA after Helene

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – Golden Harvest is one of the organizations the United Way of the CSRA partners with.

Right now the United Way is assessing the worst hit areas and the most critical needs.

If you’re someone who needs help a plan is being worked on to help get the word out quickly.

“Many times we know hours before something is coming, trying to let people know in real time it’s here, and then we already know there are lines of people waiting for supplies,” said Brittany Burnett the CEO of United Way.

If you need help or want to volunteer help – you can call 2-1-1 to contact the United Way.
