Man killed on Old Barnwell Road Tuesday morning

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – The Aiken County Coroner’s Office is investigating a an early morning crash that claimed the life of a Williston man.

Tuesday morning at 5:44 a.m., the coroner’s office was called to Old Barnwell Road near Candlewood Road for a single-vehicle accident.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 34-year-old Trevor Davis was pronounced
deceased on scene at 06:10 a.m. from injuries sustained in the accident.

The victim was traveling south on Old Barnwell Road in a Ford Focus when he ran off the right
side of the road and struck a tree.

The Coroner’s Office along with Highway Patrol are continuing with the investigation.

Toxicology analysis are pending.
