    FEMA disaster recovery center opens in Augusta

    RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – FEMA has opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Augusta.

    The center provides one-on-one assistance for residents affected by Hurricane Helene. Richmond County residents can apply for individual and public assistance programs.

    The center is located at 631 Chafee Ave. Open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
