    Several CSRA communities hosting “Trunk-or Treats” as a safe alternative after Helene

    CSRA (WJBF) – Many communities across the two-state are preparing for one of the most amusing days of the year, Halloween.

    City leaders and parents alike are concerned about the safety of children going door-to-door to trick or treat when there’s still so much debris piled up on roadsides and sidewalks.

    In Augusta , the Recreation & Parks Department is offering trunk or treat events at all community centers over the course of several days:

    • October 22 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm – Trunk or Treat Drive Through at Robert Howard
    • October 24 from 6 pm to 8 pm – Trunk or Treat on the Lump at Bernie Ward
    • October 24 from 6 pm to 8 pm – Trunk or Treat at Warren Road
    • October 25 from 5 pm to 7 pm – Trick or Treat in the Park at Sand Hills
    • October 26 from 6 pm to 10 pm – Trunk or Treat & Movie Night at Eastview
    • October 26 from 5 pm to 8 pm – Trunk or Treat Downtown at the Augusta Common
    • October 28 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Trunk or Treat at McDuffie Woods
    • October 29 from 5 pm to 7 pm – Trunk or Treat at Carrie J. Mays
    • October 30 from 6 pm to 8 pm – Boo Bash @ Brigham at Henry H. Brigham
    • October 31 from 5 pm to 7 pm – Trunk or Treat at May Park

    Also in Augusta:

    October 29 from 6pm – 8pm – Trunk or Treat at Augusta Technical College

    In Grovetown:

    October 25 from 6 pm – 9 pm at Liberty Park

    In Aiken:

    October 25 from 6 pm – 8 pm at the SPCA Albrecht Center Yappy Hour Trunk or Treat, pets welcome, open dog park, free adoptions
