I’ve been working in Margaritaville since the beginning of construction. That’s almost everyday for the last 4 years. I’ve witnessed numerous accidents here since they put the traffic signal up. The FDOT leaves the turning lane arrows at this intersection on 79 flashing YELLOW while the north and south travel lanes are green. What’s happening is all of the big trucks turning into margaritaville , or onto 388 from 79, they will sit in the turning lane waiting for an opportunity to go.. but what this does is create a huge obstruction of view for the people in the opposite turning lane. The smaller vehicles can’t see thru the huge trucks in the opposite turning lane because they have a flashing yellow arrow. Well they try to go, and the next thing they know they are getting smacked by someone doing 65MPH in the north/south travel lanes of Hwy 79. This needs to be addressed. These older folks moving into margaritaville also need to pay more attention.

Bet people would get off the damn phone and drive right of they would put a cop at every intersection and start doing there job of writing tickets to earn that tax money instead of wasting it hiding somewhere playing on there phone. Dear god let me touch my phone while operating a commercial motor vehicle and the whole book going to go down on my ass
