Greene County hosting GM Truck competition, block party this weekend

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Truck enthusiasts will be flocking to the Greene County Fairgrounds this weekend for a huge gathering of tricked-out pick-ups.

It’s Chevy, GMC or nothing at the GM Truck Fair at the fairgrounds this Saturday, Aug. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entries are welcome up to the start of the fair.

It’s $45 to register and $10 to spectate. Kids 12 and under get in free.

Afterward, you can head to Downtown Greeneville for a community block party from 6-10 p.m. featuring live music and the winning trucks from the show.
