    Registration opens for Kingsport home school PE classes

    KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Registration for home school physical education classes hosted by the Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department opened on Tuesday.

    Classes will focus on learning abilities and drills for motor skill development, the department said in a news release.

    Students will participate in warm-up and stretching exercises and play running and team games such as kickball and dodgeball.

    Classes will take place from 2 – 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in September and running through May at the V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex (301 Louis Street).

    The cost for classes is $15 per student, per month.
