    Storms tonight, becoming more scattered tomorrow, and feeling like fall next week

    The Storm Team 11 Forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms tonight. There is a 60% chance of showers and storms tonight.  Some of the storms could become strong to severe. The main threats will be isolated flash flooding, small hail, and damaging winds. The low tonight will be 66 degrees.

    WJHL Severe Weather Alerts

    Showers and thunderstorms are still around for Sunday.  There is a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center does not have us under any severe risk; however some storms can produce localize heavy rainfall.  Most of the storms on Saturday will be in the evening. The high on Sunday will be 80 degrees. The low Sunday night will be 63 degrees.

    A cool start and a cool day are expected Monday. We could still see some showers around. There is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The high Monday will be 77 degrees. The low Monday night will be 56 degrees.

    Tuesday forecast calls for cool and dry conditions. The high Tuesday will be 77 degrees. The low Tuesday night will be 50 degrees. Some areas could see temperatures drop into the upper 40s.

    For Wednesday we are still seeing dry and mild conditions. The high Wednesday will be 80 degrees. The low Wednesday night will be 54 degrees.

    Thursday not much changing in that forecast. Staying dry, but temperatures are on the rise. The high Thursday will be 84 degrees. The low Thursday night will be 57 degrees.

    Friday temperatures are still on the rise. The high will be 85 degrees, and conditions will remain nice. The low Friday night will be 58 degrees.

    For Saturday it looks like that Summer pattern will move back in. The high Saturday will be 88 degrees.

    In the tropics we still have Hurricane Ernesto. The core is northeast of Bermuda. It is still a Category 1 Hurricane. No threat to the U.S. is expected. Elsewhere in the tropics it is still pretty quiet. No tropical cyclone development is expected over the next week.
