    KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Kingsport’s Stormwater Department announced the winners of its 2024 Storm Drain Art Contest on Wednesday.

    Each winner below will receive paint and materials to start their designs in September and a $150 prize.

    Storm drains will be painted on Clinchfield Street beside the Press Building, Fort Henry Drive near the Civic Auditorium, Wateree Street near the Kingsport Renaissance Center, Clay Street and at the intersection of Market Street and Commerce Street.

    2024 marks the seventh year of the department’s Storm Drain Art Contest. The contest aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting rivers, stream habitats and aquatic wildlife.
