KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Judges from America’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Millennial Interest group selected a Kingsport woman as a 2024 “40 Under 40” award winner. The award honors SBDC network members under the age of 40.

Madison Greene is a marketing coordinator for Kingsport’s Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) . KOSBE’s website says it exists “to help small business owners and entrepreneurs navigate the rough waters of small business ownership and management.”

KOSBE is partnered with the City of Kingsport, East Tennessee State University, Eastman, the Kingsport Chamber and others in the region.

“These ambitious leaders are changing communities and employing unique perspectives and strategies that resonate with a modern workforce,” said Charles “Tee” Rowe, America’s SBDC president and CEO. “Small businesses thrive when they feel connected to a compelling mission and a community that supports their growth, such as the SBDC Network.”

Two other Tennessee women also made the list, Madison McCann and Monique Little. To view the complete list of all 40 under 40 award winners, visit the official website .

The 45th reception honoring award winners will be held on Sept. 11 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA.
