    Construction of David Crockett stadium almost complete

    JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — Construction of David Crockett High School’s new football stadium is almost complete.

    Washington County Schools Superintendent Jerry Boyd said the bleachers are finished and safe.

    He also said construction is ongoing in some areas but is expected to be finished by the end of September.

    Gates will open at 5 p.m. Friday for the Pioneers’ season opener against South Greene.
