    Greeneville scoop and score voted Week 1 Best Play of the Week

    GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The first week of high school football in Northeast Tennessee was full of highlights, including the first Best Play of the Week.

    News Channel 11 viewers voted and gave the title to Greeneville’s CJ Reyes in Week 1.

    Scores & Highlights: Week 1 high school football games

    Reyes scooped up a fumble by Tennessee High and ran it back for a touchdown.

    Greeneville went on to win 54-7 at home.

    Other plays up for the Best Play of the Week included a 99-yard touchdown run by Science Hill’s Baylor Necessary and a scoring kickoff return by Happy Valley’s Lane Parker.
