GRAY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A man who allegedly grabbed a victim by the throat and threatened to kill two people was arrested in Gray, the Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) reports.

According to a news release from the WCSO, Kishon Marqeise Skinner, 24, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated domestic assault following the Aug. 23 arrest.

The release said deputies responded to a call on Old Stage Road at around 8:30 p.m. that night. Victims told police that Skinner had arrived at the residence and after an argument on the porch, grabbed one victim by the throat.

The victim reportedly retreated inside and locked the front door, to which Skinner went around to another exterior door and entered the home, according to the release.

“Skinner then pointed a handgun and threatened to kill two occupants of the residence,” the release states.

The sheriff’s office said the victims were able to get Skinner to leave the residence, but he continued to threaten them and kick vehicles in the driveway. The release said deputies then arrived on the scene and began searching the area for Skinner.

The release said Skinner returned to the residence and allegedly threatened a third person in the driveway with a handgun, and that person managed to grab the firearm from him.

The sheriff’s office said deputies secured the firearm and transported Skinner to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held without bond until his Monday court appearance.
