    JCPD responds to overturned tractor-trailer near Bristol Highway

    JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Johnson City Police Department responded to an overturned semi-truck on Wednesday night near Bristol Highway.

    The crash took place shortly after 7 p.m. on the TN-381 exit ramp to Bristol Highway.

    No other cars were involved. The driver was taken to a hospital as a precaution, according to police.

    News Channel 11 was on the scene, where officers said the tractor-trailer was going too fast around a curve on the exit ramp when it overturned.

    The trailer contained rolls of paper, according to police.
