Mediterranean restaurant Greeko’s opens doors at Johnson City location

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – The popular Mediterranean restaurant Greeko’s Grill & Cafe opened its doors to the hungry people of Johnson City on Friday. It is the restaurant’s second location.

Greeko’s has been serving the Abingdon community for six years and is now celebrating the grand opening of its additional location in Johnson City. Owner Mustafa Ahmed said the Abingdon location regularly welcomed guests from Johnson City.

Greeko’s Johnson City is at 1709 W. State of Franklin Road, near the west end of East Tennessee State University’s campus. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The dinner and lunch menu items will be identical at both locations. However, the Johnson City location will offer a ta ste of Ahmed’s other restaurant, Rendezvous International Cafe, and feature specialty drinks, coffee, breakfast, and Greeko’s Lightning Lane .
