    Police searching for Elizabethton vandalism suspect

    ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL)—The Elizabethton Police Department is searching for a vandalism suspect after a series of incidents early Saturday.

    According to a department alert, the suspect is believed to have traveled Gap Creek Road, Southside Road, Watauga Avenue, East H Street, Maple Street, West G Street and Holley Lane in a dark-colored Jeep Wrangler.

    The alert said damages include mailboxes, street signs and lawns.

    If anyone has any information, they are asked to contact the Elizabethton Police Department.

    I hope they are caught. Ruining a mailbox is a federal offense. There are better things to do than destroy other peoples property. I am sure your parents are proud of how they raised you to respect others!
