UVA Wise prepares for season opener against ETSU on Saturday

Wise, VA — The ETSU Bucs will be back on the football field Saturday afternoon when they welcome UVA-Wise to William B. Greene Jr. stadium.

This will be a game that will feature head coaches in their first year Tre Lamb with the Bucs and Gary Bass with the Cavs unlike the Bucs this will be the Cavs 1st game of the season, but they do have film on etsu following their season-opening loss to Appalachian State last weekend….
bass says they respect the blue and gold, but they don’t fear them….

“Everybody we play is faceless and nameless. When I say that again, I’m not devaluing you or playing or saying we’re taking someone for granted or lightly because that’s not the case. Yes, absolutely. They played very, very well against Appalachian State last week. Absolutely. We’ve got to go out there. They put their pants legs on. The same way we do. We got to go out there, execute football plays, and play hard for four quarters, says Bass.”

Kick-off on Saturday at “Willie B.” will be at 5:30 and we’ll have all the sights and sounds at 11..
