Tri-Cities, TN — This week’s big game preview was a no-brainer.. the battle of Washington Co. better known as the 54th annual Musket Bowl on Friday night.

This year the Blazers will be looking for their 4th straight win in this series despite coming into the game at (0-2).
on the other side, the Pioneers are (1-1) after giving up a big lead last week against Cherokee.
both teams are young and each coach since they have played and coached in this series knows how important this game is to the players and communities.

Last couple of years. It’s come down to this game. Who wins the who wins the league? And, you know, we wanted to get back to that now. I’m a big fan of it being the year’s third game. No, but that’s just what the state spits out. And you’ve got to take it one at a time. And it just happens to be our first conference game, which is the most. And we know it will be an exciting environment and we practiced well, prepared well, and we expect to go there and play well, says Jenkins.”

“Nobody On our playing roster knows beaten that bunch. You know and obviously we want to change that. They’re really looking forward to it. You know, you grow up playing against those guys your entire life and then you get to high school and you lose three times in a row, you know, maybe puts a little pressure on you. But, man, we just want our kids to go play, says Chandley.”

If you are not able to make it out to the game then we invite you to join us on ABC Tri-Cities beginning at 7 or it will be streaming on wjhl.com
