    Vols head to Charlotte to face No. 24 NC State

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Vols will have their first real test of the season Saturday when they head to Charlotte for a neutral site matchup against NC State.

    The No. 14 Vols head into the game 1-0 after decimating Chattanooga 69-3 in their season opener. Quarterback Nico Iamaleava broke a school record for passing yards in a half with 314 yards against the Mocs.

    Tennessee scoots up one spot in AP Top 25, Florida State drops out

    The Wolfpack picked up a win in Week 1 by defeating Western Carolina 38-21.

    Tennessee and NC State will face off at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, the home of the Carolina Panthers.

    Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The game will air on ABC and ESPN+.
