Lady Toppers and Lady Cyclones pick up wins on the volleyball court

(Gray) — The Science Hill Lady Toppers taking on the Lady Blazers at Daniel Boone the Blazers have possession, and Ella Byrd passes it up high to Ella Wilson who sends it hard to the back line as Boone gets off to an early start.

Conversely, Toppers Ella Neal sets up Chelsea Blaine who can power through the block and still score that gets Science Hill rolling. Now the toppers try to go quickly this time Neal sets up Clara McBride who gets a huge spike nobody is getting to that ball

As Science Hill takes the win over Daniel Boone 3-1.

(Afton) — We now head to Greene Co. where Elizabethton played Chuckey-Doak on the road. Elizabethton dominated the first game as Jocelin Julian set up Ava George Wilbur to spike for the point. Chuckey-Doak tried to hang in there with Addison Pruitt setting up Macy Cox who spikes it for the point.

Jocelin puts some heat on this serve as Jacey Taylor attempts to make a play on the ball but knocks it out for an Elizabethton point.

(Bristol, TN) — The Tennessee High volleyball team got back on the winning track with a 25-14, 25-22, 25-15 sweep of Crockett on Thursday night in Viking Hall. Ashton Blair led the offense with 12 kills and 6 digs. Erin Littleton added 10 kills and a pair of blocks and Faith Hayes and Sophie Stallcup each slammed 5 kills. Bree Adams passed out 23 assists and had 11 digs and Emily Curtin added 16 assists. Addy Gentry and Camden Ward each picked up 18 digs to key the defense. THS (14-5, 4-2) will head to Atlanta for the weekend to participate in the Rally High Tournament.
