Smoothie King location to open in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Plans are underway to bring Smoothie King to Johnson City.

A Smoothie King location will open at 1722 West State of Franklin Road, across the street from the Earth Fare shopping center near East Tennessee State University, according to a release from Peerless Properties and Development.

The company said construction was awarded to GC Construction Partners and ground has been broken.

The new Smoothie King is slated to open in February 2025.

There is one other Smoothie King location in the Tri-Cities — in Kingsport at 2003 North Eastman Road in the East Stone Commons shopping center.
