TRI-CITIES, Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — Bristol’s annual Rhythm & Roots Reunion, the Umoja Festival, the Learn to Fly event in Johnson City and more are taking place this weekend in the Tri-Cities.

VOTE: Tri-Cities Best Hot Dogs Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion
49 Winchester, Ashley McBryde, The Wallflowers and more are set to perform at the 23rd annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion.
Marching Bucs Fundraiser Concert
Proceeds will help fund the Marching Bucs trip to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
Music on the Square
Performance by Aaron Vance. Food truck Maybe Today will be on-site serving southern breakfast cuisine.
Living Here: A Portrait of Jonesborough
Exhibit displaying portraits of people living and working in Jonesborough.

Umoja Festival
The Umoja Festival, a celebration of unity and diversity, will feature food vendors, live entertainment, a gospel fest, kids zone, arts and crafts, resources and more.

Johnson City Learn To Fly Event
Hosted by the Johnson City Radio Controllers, the event will have introductory flight training sessions, raffles, displays and food available on-site.
The Gathering at Sycamore Shoals
Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution at Fort Watauga will honor the Overmountain Men and their victory over loyalist forces at the Battle of Kings Mountain.

Drive-Thru Event for New and Expecting Parents
Hosted by the Sullivan County Regional Health Department. The event is designed for new and expecting parents 25 and under with babies up to two years old. Vendors, resources, information and prizes will be at the event.
Community Outreach Event
Hosted by the Johnson City/Washington County Family Justice Center. Event will provide information about available resources and a clothing giveaway.
