Johnson City to host Main Street Days downtown festival

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Main Street Days, a street festival in downtown Johnson City, will take place Oct. 19.

The festival aims to support small businesses throughout downtown Johnson City.

Main Street Director Lindsey Jones said the festival will have street performances, magicians and painting.

“So the idea is to support the small businesses like we have, show everybody what we have to offer in downtown Johnson City from our restaurants, our breweries, our pubs, shopping activities,” Jones said. “We’ve got a little bit of everything for everyone.”

The festival will run from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
