    Temporary EBT outage scheduled for Saturday to Sunday

    JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — There will be a temporary EBT outage from Saturday to Sunday, according to the Tennessee Department of Human Services .

    The department said the EBT outage will begin at 11 p.m. on Saturday and end at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

    EBT cardholders cannot use their cards for food and cash purchases or cash withdrawals during this time. The department reminded cardholders to plan and shop accordingly.

    Tennessee’s EBT toll-free customer service helpline support will also be limited during the outage.
