    Boil water advisory lifted in Elizabethton

    UPDATE: The boil water notice has been lifted.

    ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) — A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for several Elizabethton Water Resources customers.

    The advisory comes after a water main break on Milligan Highway near the intersection of Warrior Lane.

    Customers on Milligan Highway, between Warrior Lane and Sparks Road, may experience low pressure or no water. Dave Buck Road, Dosser Lane, Greenlee Road and surrounding areas may also be affected.

    Letcher County sheriff accused of judge’s murder pleads not guilty

    Crews are working to restore service and a follow-up notice will be issued once repairs are finished.

    Residents are advised to bring tap water to a rolling boil, allowing it to boil for one minute and letting it cool before drinking.

    Anyone with questions is asked to call the Elizabethton Water Resource office at 423-547-6300.
