    VDOT project to impact 3 downtown Bristol streets

    BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — A Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) project is expected to impact traffic in downtown Bristol, Virginia for three weeks.

    According to the City of Bristol, Virginia, a boring project will start on Sept. 30.

    Letcher County sheriff accused of judge’s murder pleads not guilty

    Boring will take place along portions of State Street, Piedmont Avenue and Moore Street.

    A notice from the city stated that each boring should take about one day to complete and will affect a small section of the street where it occurs. The city provided a map of the project detailing where the boring will occur.

    Traffic patterns will change during the work and drivers are asked to consider alternate routes.
