WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Six puppies were saved from a storm drain in Washington County, Tennessee on Wednesday.

The Washington County Johnson City Animal Shelter posted on social media that an individual came across six puppies trapped in a storm drain.

The puppies were rescued before Wednesday’s storms. The shelter said if they weren’t found by the individual, the puppies would have drowned.

Tammy Davis, the shelter’s executive director, said the puppies are estimated to be 6-7 weeks old.

Due to their young age, the puppies aren’t available for adoption currently but will be in the future.

The people/person who did this needs a serious behind the barn, schoolyard discussion. You know, where they get "taught" that animals are Gods creations also. They need accountability thrown to their ass!! I'm being as "polite" as I possibly can in this situation.
