    Erwin Utilities urges customers to conserve water for the foreseeable future

    ERWIN, Tenn. (WJHL) — Erwin Utilities asked customers to conserve all water for the foreseeable future as a systemwide water outage due to power loss and flooding continues on Friday.

    According to a release from Erwin Utilities, customers will be notified when the outage has been resolved and normal water consumption can resume.

    Customers systemwide are encouraged to boil any water for consumption until an all-clear is given by the utility company.

    Erwin Utilities also urged Unicoi Water Utility District customers to conserve water. Anyone with questions or concerns can call 423-388-8771.
