    Greene County’s Highway 107 Kinser Bridge collapses into Nolichucky

    GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Kinser Bridge on Highway 107 has collapsed after withstanding hours of rising floodwaters.

    The bridge collapse comes after severe flooding to the Nolichucky River that caused the Tennessee Valley Authority to issue a Condition Yellow for the dam .

    The Birds, Chuckey Pike and Buckingham bridges are closed.

    Due to rising waters and downed trees, Greene County is on a countywide curfew until 9 a.m. on Saturday.

    Shelters are available at Asbury United Methodist Church .
