    Local counties to provide a free meal for students on Monday

    TRI-CITIES (WJHL)—The Sullivan County Department of Education and Kingsport City Schools (KCS) posted on social media that they will provide a free meal for all its students on Monday.

    SULLIVAN COUNTY SCHOOLS

    LIST: Local places accepting donations, volunteers for flood victims in the Tri-Cities

    Sullivan County Schools students can pick up a “free, sit-down meal” on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at East High School and West Ridge High School cafeterias.

    Sullivan County Schools will be closed on Monday due to road closures and power outage concerns .

    KINGSPORT CITY SCHOOLS

    Kingsport City students can pick up breakfast from 8-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in KCS cafeterias.

    Kingsport City Schools will be closed on Monday due to power outage concerns and technology issues throughout the district.

    WASHINGTON COUNTY SCHOOLS

    Washington County Schools will provide curbside meal pickup on these days from 12 to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

      • Boones Creek Elementary School
      • Daniel Boone High School
      • Jonesborough Elementary School
      • David Crockett High School
    • Dates and Times
      • Monday, September 20
      • Thursday, October 3
      • Monday, October 7
      • Thursday, October 10
