    Prep Monday: Betsy slides past East; Lady Toppers win on senior night

    (WJHL) – A handful of rescheduled football games and volleyball matchups took center stage on Monday night.

    In Bluff City, Elizabethton served as the home team in Sullivan East’s stadium. Fans of both squads helped raise $5,420 to benefit the Carter Compassion Center at the gate.

    On the field, the Cyclones scored four touchdowns in the opening quarter to run away with a win, 43-6.

    Science Hill and Greeneville volleyball both celebrated senior night in Johnson City on Monday. The Lady Toppers went to work from the first ball, sweeping the visitors in straight sets, 3-0.

    Up the road at Tennessee High, the Lady Vikings honored three seniors ahead of a matchup with John Battle. It was a clean sweep for the home squad as they took down the Lady Trojans, 25-14, 25-14, 25-11.
