JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL)—BrightRidge reported that, as of Thursday morning, all outages north of the Nolichucky River had been restored.

The company said that all remaining outages were south of the Nolichucky River and are expected to be restored on Saturday. Many homes will require work before they can safely be reconnected to the BrightRidge grid.

“We do expect to complete the third Nolichucky crossing at the Taylor Bridge site on Saturday,” BrightRidge CEO Jeff Dykes said. “With that complete, we will be able to reenergize about 120 meters in the area that can be energized.”

BrightRidge reported a total of 33,458 outages due to Hurricane Helene at the height of the storm.
