Kingsport native Charlie Browder helps create “Mountain Strong” slogan and sticker

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — You may remember last week, the Vols pasted stickers on their helmets with the slogan “Mountain Strong” in a show of support for victims of flooding in the region.

Come to find out, the sticker was started by Kingsport native and Vols tight end Charlie Browder; and it’s such a hit, UT Athletics is selling those stickers along with shirts and hats featuring the “Mountain Strong” emblem.

They’re on sale at the Vol Shop and Alumni Hall. The athletics department says proceeds from all the merchandise sales will go to charity.
