Kingsport Farmers Market to host 7th annual Fall Festival Saturday

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Kingsport Farmers Market will host its 7th annual Fall Festival on Saturday at 308 Clinchfield Street. All activities are free for the community.

The Fall Festival will feature vendors, kids’ activities, pumpkin carving and a painting contest from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The market will also welcome over 50 vendors selling various produce, baked goods, meats, fresh eggs and crafts from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A Fall Festival schedule is below, provided by a release from the city:

• Pumpkin Carving/Painting contest – Pumpkin check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the judging starts at 11 a.m. Entrants must pick up their pumpkins by noon. Enter to win prizes in two categories—Best Carved and Best Decorated—in the 12 & under and 13 & up categories
• Kids mini-pumpkin painting and other activities starting at 9 a.m. (while supplies last)
• Rotary of Kingsport – Sunrise – will be made and sell apple butter on-site
• Gary Bortz with Bortz Graphics will be on-site doing pumpkin sculpting demonstrations
