    TDEC issues boil water advisory for parts of Jonesborough

    JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL)—The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has issued a boil water advisory for parts of Jonesborough for the next 48 hours.

    According to a release from the Town of Jonesborough Water Department, the following areas are on a boil water advisory as a health and safety precaution for the next 48 hours:

    • Highway 81 South, south of Embreeville Bridge to the Washington County line and the following side streets:
      • Ernest Elliot Road
      • Elliot Drive
      • Deacon Creek Way
      • Creek Road
      • M Tucker Road
      • Deacon Creek Road
      • Tiffany Lane
      • Frazier Road
      • Beals Flats Road
      • Haines Road
      • Jack Banner Lane
      • Roy Lane Road
