    Sullivan East stumbles against Seymour; Pioneers get past Rangers

    (WJHL) – A handful of area high school football squads matched-up for a pair of rescheduled regular season games on Tuesday night.

    In Bluff City, Seymour clamped down on host Sullivan East for a 37-0 victory. With the win, the Eagles snapped a 23-game losing streak.

    The Patriots will make the journey to Cherokee on Friday night.

    In a cross-state battle, Thomas Walker topped Unaka, 40-24.

    The Rangers return to action against North Greene on Friday, while the Pioneers travel to Twin Valley, also on Friday.
