6 Questions for TN House District 6 candidates

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Two-term state Rep. Tim Hicks (R-Gray) faces the same Democrat he did in the 2020 election, Johnson Citian Brad Batt.

News Channel 11 invited both candidates in and asked them the same six questions. Both obliged and you can watch and listen to answers to each separate question below. Hicks, who owns a construction company, captured nearly 73% of the vote in 2020, defeating Batt with 21,557 votes to Batt’s 8,107. Batt is a small business owner.
