Chilhowie and Northwood pick up wins on the volleyball court

(Glade Springs, VA) — It was senior night at Patrick Henry tonight, and the Lady Rebels were getting recognition even from their opponent the Chilhowie Lady Warriors.

Warriors Madi Preston allows Lexi Williams to go in for the kill shot. Rebels tried to return it but were unsuccessful. A little later, Rebel Lexie Cook passes off to Braelyn Scammell who’ll deliver the spike for the kill. Rebel’s still at it, Scammell gets another assist from Cook and will spike another one.

However, Chilhowie would go on to win tonight 3-0

(Damascus, VA) — Meanwhile, on the other side of Washington Co. Virginia, Northwood’s Lady Panthers take on Holston’s Lady Cavs. The Panthers hit things off, Sydney Carter with the assists to Karlee Frye who’ll get the kill.

Later, Northwood on the serve, Cav’s will return it with a light tap from Frye for the point.

The Cavs keep fighting, and Campbell will be given the ball and spike on the Panther defense.

Northwood goes on to win 3-0
