Gate City Blue Devil Jaydyn Carrico signs with the University of the Cumberlands (KY)

Gate City, VA — With family and friends looking on Gate City Blue Devil Jaydyn Carrico signed to play basketball for the University of the Cumberlands out of Kentucky.

This past season as a junior Carrico led the Mountain 7 and Cumberland districts while averaging 24.1 points per game while grabbing 7.0 rebounds. She also surpassed the 1,000-point total, named 2nd Team All-State and 1st Team All-Region and District
