    Unicoi County to receive donated fire truck from Maryland

    UNICOI COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Unicoi County will receive a donated fire truck and equipment from Maryland on Saturday.

    America’s First Responders Foundation is donating used fire trucks and equipment to East Tennessee and North Carolina departments.

    FEMA workers threatened in Carter County

    Earlier in the week, the foundation delivered an ambulance and two other fire trucks to Unicoi, Carter and Cocke counties.

    On Wednesday, the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office received two donated police vehicles filled with supplies from South Carolina.

    Earlier this month, the Unicoi County EMS received three donated ambulances from North Carolina.
