Brookhaven man catches record crappie at Lake Mary Crawford

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A Mississippi man caught the new Lake Mary Crawford record crappie.

Officials with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) announced Jordan Davis, of Brookhaven, caught the new record fish, which weighed 2.53 pounds.

Lake Mary Crawford is a 128-acre state fishing lake located in Lawrence County.
