A Richland police officer and a K9 were able to locate an article of clothing belonging to the suspect, 18-year-old Jalen Tramon Jordan, of Terry.

Police said Jordan was found hiding in the woods and attempted to flee by climbing a wooden privacy fence. The K9 tried to stop Jordan, who was eventually able to make it over the privacy fence. However, Byram officers were able to take Jordan into custody without incident.
