    Game Preview: Alcorn State vs. UAB

    LORMAN, Miss. (WJTV)- Alcorn State begins their season with a Thursday night battle with UAB.

    This will be a good test for the Braves who have a new head coach this year in Cedric Thomas.

    Thomas has head coaching experience, and was most recently the defensive coordinator for Alcorn.

    Coach Thomas says he is ready and the biggest part of preparing this week is making sure they have all their signals and calls ready.

    Alcorn State vs. UAB kicks off at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
