FLOWOOD, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will open a new location on Saturday, August 31 in Flowood.

The restaurant will be located at 421 West Pineview Drive. This is the business’ first location in the Jackson-metro area and the third in the state of Mississippi.

Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“We feel thrilled to bring the Freddy’s experience to this new community,” said Dave Giesen, franchise owner. “We look forward to being a convenient dining option for those who live and work in the area, as well as for guests traveling along the highway. Our commitment to high-quality, cooked-to-order food and genuine hospitality will make this restaurant a destination for families and friends who want to enjoy fresh, hot meals and classic dessert treats in a comfortable atmosphere.”

The restaurant seats 74 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. The hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
