    Who will be on Mississippi’s ballot in November 2024?

    JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – As the 2024 election nears, the two biggest names in national politics are not on the ballot in Mississippi.

    Both former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris received their respective party’s nominations in July and August.

    Judicial races will take place across the state. The most competitive race is for the District One Place Three seat where incumbent Presiding Justice Jim Kitchens faces off against four challengers in November. In contrast, six judicial candidates are running unopposed in November.

    Below are the candidate’s names and the positions they are running for.

    Excluding the Mississippi Circuit Court special election on November 4, voting for all races is set to occur on Tuesday, November 5. Statewide elections across Mississippi occurred in 2023.

    Based on the latest information from the secretary of state’s website, eight incumbent judges are seeking to win their elections in November. The five incumbents up for reelection within Mississippi’s congressional delegation seek to do the same.
