Body of 17-year-old recovered from Pascagoula River

UPDATE:

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – George County deputies said the body of 17-year-old Jakeob Mullen was recovered from the Pascagoula River just before 9:45 p.m. on September 3.

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – Rescue teams are searching for a missing 17-year-old boy who disappeared in the Pascagoula River.

George County deputies said Jakeob Mullen went underwater Monday afternoon in the Pascagoula River near Mixon Lake.

Search teams, along with other agencies, are working to locate Mullen.

Anyone with information that could help in the search can contact local authorities.
