Two dead in apparent murder-suicide in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Warren County deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said the shooting occurred in the 2500 block of Warriors Trail around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4.

The sheriff said deputies found 45-year-old Crystal Dawn Sanderford and 53-year-old Johnny Dill, Jr., deceased at Sanderford’s home.

According to Pace, Sanderford had been shot multiple times, and Dill was shot once in the head. Deputies recovered a weapon at the scene.

Pace said the two had been in an off-and-on relationship.
