Kosciusko teen convicted in fatal 2023 shooting

KOSCIUSKO, Miss. ( WJTV ) – An 18-year-old from Kosciusko was found guilty in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in July 2023.

Breezy News reported Jarmarion Thompson was found guilty of first-degree murder on Wednesday, September 11.

Investigators said Thompson shot Jamel Davis, of Kosciusko, in the 500 block of West Adams Street on July 20, 2023. Davis later died at a local hospital.

Thompson will be sentenced on Monday, September 16.
