JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – As Francine moved through the City of Jackson early Thursday morning, the storm caused big tree limbs to fall onto a West Jackson home.

The incident happened at a home on First Avenue around 6:00 a.m. The homeowner, Darrell Lee, told WJTV 12 News he was asleep when he heard a loud thud.

Mississippi roads closed due to flash flooding from Francine

Large tree limbs crashed into Lee’s roof. There was debris on Lee’s cars and his neighbors’ cars. The limbs also knocked down power lines.
