    Five escape from Jones County house fire

    JONES COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – Five people, including three children, were able to escape from a house fire in Jones County.

    The fire occurred on Antioch Drive just after 1:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16.

    When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a double-wide mobile home engulfed in flames. They were able to quickly control the fire.

    According to officials with the Jones County Fire Council, the home was occupied by two adults and three children, who were able to escape without injuries.

    Jones County deputies also responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
